The Oldest Substantial Book to Survive Antiquity is Online

This year is the sesquicentennial of the discovery of Codex Sinaiticus by Constantin von Tischendorf at the Monastery of St. Catherine at Mount Sinai. Created in the mid 4th century, Codex Sinaiticus is “the oldest substantial book to survive Antiquity.” The Codex Sinaiticus Project is reuniting the entire manuscript in digital form online.
